ABIMOTA: Unveiling AM2R at Taichung Bike Week 2025

ABIMOTA is present at Taichung Bike Week 2025, showcasing the ambitious AM2R project at the global hub of the bicycle industry. This event, recognized as the primary decision‑making platform for future OEM models, provides ABIMOTA with a unique opportunity to demonstrate how Portugal is shaping the next generation of two‑wheel mobility – “Made in Europe” 

During the week, the collaborative ecosystem of AM2R will be highlighted: bicycles equipped with sensors that anticipate hazards, smart apparel that communicates directly with riders, and high‑performance components that redefine efficiency and safety. These solutions reflect the strategic investment funded by the PRR, which has driven sector transformation and strengthened the position of Portuguese industry within the global supply chain. The AM2R project(Agenda Mobilizadora para a Inovação Empresarial do Setor das Duas Rodas) is financed by the PRR/Next Generation EU funds, AM2R acts as a powerful accelerator. This ambitious initiative involves a consortium of 47 entities, including leading companies like Polisport, universities, technology centers, and the sector’s representative body, ABIMOTA.
